GPS Kids?
I have been able to Lo-jack my car for at least a decade. How come I can't do the same for my kids?
Les filles should have been home no later than 3:00pm... and that time includes the inevitable screwing around that kiddies will do on a walk that should take no longer than 10 minutes. Today however at 3:15 there were still no filles. I jumped into my car and headed off straight to the school with thought rushing through my head asking me why I would think that a 10 year old could possibly be responsible enough for navigating 2 and half blocks to the nearest ecole. I followed the route that they were more likely to take even watching for them everywhere I thought they had friends. I got to the school... ran to the building and then to the afterschool room where there were NO FILLES! AUGH!
"Well," the teacher said, "They did get out late today because of an assembly". I ran out into the parking lot and located another of the older one's friends. "Mary! Did you see my filles?" it turns out that she had... walking home with an other jeune thing, Erin. I thanked her and her Mom and kept heading out. By now, the crossing guards were packing it up. Just then my phone rang. "Where are you?" the older complained to me. "WHere are you? and is your sister with you?" I yelled back at the phone. "Oh ,we are home and Erin is with us" was the reply I got.
It turns out that after they got out of school late, les filles decided that Erin should come over and play. So naturally, they stopped at Erin's house so that she could call her mother. That Erin, she is a nice girl who wouldn't dream of scaring her Mom. After they got the permission... they headed on to our place.
Of course, I was already off on my frenzied adventure by then... and they must have been in Erin's house when I passed. I am just about recovered from my heart attack now and am desperate to find a way to Lo-jack my chicklets so they don't fly the coop again.
Do you think they cooperate while I have them micro-chipped?

Millennium Plus operates using an innovative hybrid of technologies, including GPS satellites and patented microburst cell technology. Each time you communicate with the transceiver in the vehicle, there is a two way flow of information.
* When accessing Millennium Plus via the Internet using any standard browser, you send out a signal. That signal then travels to the cell phone tower nearest your current location.
* Microburst technology operates on existing cellular networks to send and receive data packets, tapping into unused channels on the back side of standard cell frequencies.
* The GPS satellites then locate and communicate with the Millennium Plus transceiver on board your vehicle, which exchanges information on location and speed, as well as executing any commands you've sent.
* The cell towers then relay the signal back to you via the exact means by which it was sent.
