I hate people

Have I mentioned that lately?

Maybe it is just stress associated with running my ass off all month. Ahhh if that was literally true... how happy I would be! Alas it is not. My ass remains, as always, fat.

The latest involves idiot neighbors, an out of town wedding and screwed up construction loans. Not necessarily in that order.

Idiot neighbors? That is easy. My neighbor has stopped calling the cops and has now turned to calling the department of Streets and Sanitation. I just found out this evening after all the crap that I have dealt with today... I will process it later.

Maybe I should have skipped the kids at lunch duty that I had.. but i didn't. And really, I don't mind doing that... the little ones are cute and I get to talk to people.. Grown-ups even. And I would have just spent the time at home stressing out.

Oh an the wedding... Friends of Fun Daddy and mine... we fixed them up.. and by that I mean... ME. The bride and I had a falling out afterward.. that we are working to correct. But under the best of circumstances, brides get a little loopy... so I did my best to stay clear. Oh and did I mention that Imelda was an altar server at the wedding? I knew hat I forot to mention it... That is because we didn't know before we left. But Imelda? She loved it. Both my girls made new friends at the wedding and had a great time. So did Fun Daddy and I... We stayed at a charming little inn on Cayuga Lake. It was very relaxing between hectic ten hour drives.

Oh... and after the ten hour drive home? Fun Daddy got right on a plane and flew to London. I think I need a theme song... How about this... to Fergie's version of London Bridge:

How come every time he's out of town,
There's something else that's go-ing to go wrong.
There's something, something, something else that's going wrong.
There's something, something, something else that's going wrong.

Yeah, I know it sucks... like my week.

Screwed up construction loan? That is more complicated. I had a loan... everyone took their fees... they paid off my existing mortgage... now all that was left was to pay for the construction. That seemed to make sense. BUT... when push came to shove and it was time to pay off the cost of the construction project...well, then we discovereed that the loan was out of balance. That the costs of the project were more than the loan was for. Well, I am a bit confused... we knew the cost of the project... we told the bank... they made a loan... now they are saying oops? But indeed they did. And it has taken an extra two weeks to fix. Fun Daddy has not enjoyed his time trying to fix it.. but ultimately (comme toujours)he was out of town when la fraps le ventilateur. So who has to take over? C'est moi! That is great, eh? I didn't think so either. blech...

The good news? I got it done. It took a little work and standing over.. Plus, I knew how to get the instructions to how to send an international phone call (fax). Man I am tired from that... Except that I still have basketball and dinner to fix and an out of town husband who will call me every six minutes if I don't answer the phone within the first two rings.

I can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings....
