So What Is A Tropical Storm Like

So it is windy and rains... no big deal, right?

I got this video from my cousin, John in Virginia Beach. He lives in the Sandbridge neighborhood of that city. Sandbridge is essentially a big long sandbar running along the coast. They are the beginning of the Outer Banks. During storms I worry about him, but he lives at the high point on the sandbar... and he is a sensible sort.

So what is a tropical storm like out there? Well sometimes weird stuff washes ashore....

oh, it is really windy too... But that part, I think you expected.
