President Arrives in Alabama, Briefed on Hurricane Katrina

This story takes the gateau!

POTUS gets to Alabama to begin to survey the damage... he has a little get together where he praises the effected Guvs.. which is very sweet.

No mention of the Mayor of New Orleans. Well, that makes sense, he is a complainer. "Where are the Federal Troops? What Happened to FEMA? How come NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, CNN and Harry Connick, Jr. can find their ways to the Superdome, but our National Guard finds it too dangerous..." Bitch, bitch, bitch.

But the part that makes me most incredulous is when POTUS decides to single out Mike Brown, head of FEMA for praise that he soooo clearly does not deserve.

Again, I want to thank you all for -- and, Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job. The FEMA Director is working 24 -- (applause) -- they're working 24 hours a day.

Where are they? Summer camp?!

PEOPLE ARE DYING AND YOU GUYS ARE HIGH-FIVING EACH OTHER??????!!!!
