No excuses..

That's right. I have none for being a poor blogging Maman lately. I have excuses of course... good ones even...

Like I am moving out of the house that I have lived in for 14 years into a new apartment, one box at a stinking time...

Like a it is hot and sticky and I feel like old damp rice....

The only assistance that I get from the family is the occasional lifted box (Heaven forfend that someone actually help unpack one though)

Oh and I still have to cook, clean, do laundry and cart children hither and yon...

Oh and did I mention I have to leave for Long Island this weekend? Then London next week? And then Gasport, NY over the next weekend? Yup, that is me... the world traveller... The Hamptons to London to Gasport... I think that there 3 people who might read this blog that would understand the implications of a trip to Gasport.. but I believe that all three will agree that a trip to the Ridge Road (the article "THE" is a requirement for all Western New York directions) in Gasport will be the perfect capper on the next week.

I will try to be better Maman in the future... maybe take a picture of the new place... maybe even tell a funny Imelda story (which I have)... for now of course, I would just like to take a month long shower and stand naked in front of a fan... (sorry for the gross imagery)

Oh and Hi to my friend Randy from LSHS who recently discovered that the blog he has been reading for over a year One Gay at a Time was written by our mutual friend Jim from junior high (he got sent to a MUCH better high school than ours).... Something about pictures from a prom that we all attended and the memory of the hideous wallpaper my Mom had in the foyer (that is Foy-Yeah to you).... oh and shutters on that crazy little window. Anyway, we have shamed him into sharing his life with us as publicly as we share ours.... Go see him at his blog.. Big Tooth Blog... and yes, he is a dentist, so that makes sense.
