Imelda the Pious...

I have been bad about talking about this... but Imelda has become an altar server.

Sorry, that always sounds odd to me. I still want to call them altar boys. Since, when I was a girl, they were only boys.

She has gone to the lessons. Practiced at home. Told us about what she has learned about the idiosyncracies of the various priests.. When she is serving she will make no eye contact with family or friends. It is too cute really...

I told some of my cousins about this and they recently got to test her. I arranged as a surprise to my grandmother, to serve at the mass the bunch of us attended in my hometown of Lockport for my grandmother's 99th birthday.

Even then she didn't break! What a girl!
