Wild Kingdom

We don't need no stinking Mutual of Omaha here in Chi-town! We get our own wildlife action in the big city.

To wit:

The baby kestrels are being taught to hunt. They are starting small... raiding other birds nests. This one is in my neighbor, Laura's roof near her skylight. When the parents of the unfortunate nestlings complained, Mom and Dad showed the babies how to fight them off...

You know what they say...

The family that preys together, stays together!

Ummmm, Yummmmy!
